About Us
Baseball is a sport that is very much loved in the Vauxhall area and with the tremendous community support and the awesome climate we enjoy year round several people started to dream up a way to allow young student athletes to play and train year round. We all believed that if Canadian athletes had a program that allowed them to play more than the traditional spring and summer months that we could, in fact, have Canadian players get drafted in higher round of the MLB draft or be offered more financial assistance to colleges. We felt strongly about developing a program that would go above just making good baseball players. We wanted to have students exposed to physical training, mental training, and strong community involvement that would help them benefit after high school. We feel we have the program that will leave long lasting positive memories for all of our students. We have received positive feedback from the Prairie Baseball Academy in Lethbridge, from Baseball Alberta, as well as Baseball Canada. Our local School Board, Superintendent, MLA Barry McFarlane, and Minister Lyle Olberg all support our new program and wish it the very best success.
