Vauxhall High School success is directly related to the students that we as a staff get to work with. A combination of committed teachers, supportive parents, a co-operative school board and amazing students have excelled Vauxhall to one of the best schools in the Horizon School Division. As is the case with any school we have a vary wide range of students needs and personalities.
Here is a few comments from some of our students at Vauxhall High School . As well as a chart showing how well our students are doing academically at Vauxhall High School.

“Being a student at Vauxhall High School has really helped me to get me where I am today. Not only do I get pushed by teachers to do well academically, but they also really care about what goes on in student’s lives away from school, and do their best to help you accomplish your goals.”
Larissa Odland and Janice Tolsma
Student Body Presidents
“Since we are a relatively small town, almost everyone at Vauxhall High School knows each other. It’s a great thing when you are walking down the hallway and you see students smiling at each other or stopping to talk to one another, even though they’re not in the same group of friends, or even in the same grade. Not only is it a friendly atmosphere, but the school has a lot of fun activities planned for the students. These include Much Music video dances, movies on the last day of school before the Christmas break (with treats provided by parent council!), and an annual pancake breakfast that is held every June, which involves not only the students and the teachers, but the bus drivers as well. Smaller activities that are also looked forward to throughout the year include pep rallies, which generate school spirit and recognize our sports teams, as well little games that the students take part in during lunch or before school, such as scavenger hunts and bulletin board decorating (all of which are for prizes!). Overall, Vauxhall High School has the atmosphere for any student to excel and to have fun!”
