Welcome!

Starting in the Fall of 2006 Vauxhall High School will introduce the Vauxhall Academy of Baseball. This program has been designed to allow all students to fulfill their baseball and academic dreams. Our program will provide the best coaching, training, and facilities needed for students to work towards baseball scholarships and/or professional aspirations. Along with outstanding baseball opportunities, Vauxhall High School provides an excellent education for students. Currently, the Fraser Report ranks Vauxhall High School, 8th in the province out of all other Alberta High Schools in terms of academic success and improvement.

The staff of Vauxhall High School and the community of Vauxhall are excited about this new program and the rewards that the students will receive from it.

The following is what the Academy will offer:

  • Outstanding Facilities! Both indoor and outdoor.
  • Physical Training! A weight room that allows our students to properly train and maintain their health and fitness.
  • Mental Training! A sports psychologist will work closely with all our athletes.
  • Travel Experiences! Our students will travel to compete with others to showcase their talents and abilities developed at our academy.
  • Equipment! From uniforms to bats and balls, our students will receive the best to bring out the best in them.
  • Strong Academics! Students will work on their academic pursuits as much as their baseball desires.
  • Community and volunteer experiences! It is our belief that students understand community involvement and give back to the community that is helping them reach their full potential.
