Facilities
Vauxhall Academy of Baseball participants have access to the best possible facilities to help them in their training. Our baseball diamond is a well maintained field that has a long history and tradition behind it. The local high school team has won several provincial championships on the Jets Stadium, the local American Legion team has hosted the Montana State tournament at Jets Stadium, and Alberta Baseball is excited about using the Jets Stadium for provincial baseball activities. The majority of training and development will be in Jets Stadium but when the weather does not allow the program to be outside, our athletes will be training in our newly developed indoor facility and will continue effective training and conditioning.
Ball Diamond:
Jets Stadium was built in 1956 and is rich in history in Southern Alberta and is very special to the town of Vauxhall and surrounding communities.
Recent upgrades to the ball diamond have included new lights for night baseball, completely new water lines; the infield has been levelled and rebuilt. And current work is being done on the grandstand, concession stand and clubhouse dressing rooms.
Indoor Winter Facilities:
Vauxhall Academy of Baseball will provide an indoor training facility which will include multiple hitting tunnels, indoor pitching mounds, and a fielding and throwing area. As well as an extensive weight room facility for complete strength and conditioning programs for our athletes.
Technology:
Along with the very best training equipment, our academy will incorporate the best video analysis equipment for our athletes to observe and understand training principles and monitor their improvements in our program.
